The Nevada Department of Wildlife will have free fishing poles, tackle and bait to use during the event while supplies last; photo identification required for loan. The Girls Scouts of Southern Nevada will offer a freshly cooked pancake breakfast for $5 and water for $1. Families will enjoy free local entertainment. This expanded program for teens will adventure all over Southern Nevada, from a float trip in Black Canyon to Wet ‘n’ Wild, Game Works, indoor skydiving, Trapeze Las Vegas, and so much more.  Participants should dress each day for active outdoor experiences and bring lunch, snacks, water, sunscreen, and be ready for fun. Teens who are interested must submit an application at the center they wish to attend and participate in an interview in order to be selected. Want some major action and exercise this summer? Event will begin with a 1.5-mile run beginning at Pavilion Center Pool and winding through Veterans Memorial Park. Race will conclude with a 300-meter swim at the pool. There is no age limit, but participants must be able to swim 100 meters successfully. Minimum of 10 participants needed for this event. Dive In Movie Night!

Team members will have lunch and participate in a wheelchair basketball demonstration with local athletes. Monday evening they will go bowling at the Santa Fe lanes with participants in the city’s Adaptive Recreation program and spend Tuesday, June 20, at Wet ‘n’ Wild with city of Las Vegas Adaptive Recreation summer campers.
