Chef Scott Commings Creates Late Night Biscuit & Cocktail Menu featuring Chicken & Biscuits, Smothered Pot Roast Biscuit, Biscuits & Gravy and His Famed Biscuits & Jam


LAS VEGAS – (Feb 16, 2017) – Promising an ongoing collision of the best of America’s tastes and tunes, Freedom Beat at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino is introducing their newest music and food program: The Gibson Biscuits and Jam Sessions now set to take the stage every Monday night from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.


Officially launching Monday, Feb. 20, the open-stage/mic night provides the unique opportunity for local artists to jam on the Freedom Beat stage and for music lovers to mix and mingle with some of Las Vegas’ best musicians. With Gibson hosting and providing the instruments for the night, local and touring musicians can plug-in and play or choose to shred with their own instrument of choice.


In true Freedom Beat style, Chef Scott Commings (Season 12 winner of Hell’s Kitchen) has cooked up a special menu that perfectly fits the bill spotlighting an assortment of savory and sweet, house-made biscuits including; Chicken and Biscuit, Biscuits & Gravy, Smothered Pot Roast Biscuit and the Assortment of Biscuits & Jam featuring warm sweet and savory biscuits, maple butter and the famous house jam – each for just $10. A variety of drink specials including $1 draft beers will also be available.

Sign-ups for Biscuits and Jam Sessions are first come, first served at Freedom Beat. Performance time will vary based on number of acts and musicians.
