LAS VEGAS-August 17, 2004 - Judges, celebrities, detectives and mobsters have been known to frequent the famous Binion's Ranch Steakhouse since its inception in the 1950s. They were showered with only the best in gourmet cuisine, world class steaks and seafood. The same quality of food and service remains today. The Steakhouse is located on the 24th floor of the west side of Binion s, offering guests a picturesque and panoramic view of the old and the new Las Vegas. Plush Victorian inspired interior design and candlelight dinners create the most romantic setting downtown!

Maitre'd David Schandorff will celebrate his 36th anniversary as a Binion's Horseshoe food and beverage employee this December. We have a beautiful room and I've got excellent servers up here & not one of us has been here less than 14 years, said Schandorff. Since his arrival to Las Vegas, Schandorff has seen development of corporate high rises and the demolition of historical Vegas landmarks. It s amazing what's happened to this town, he said. Schandorff can vouch for serving and interacting with almost every actor from the 1995 movie Casino. Other notable guests of today and yesterday include Willie Nelson, Betty Grabel, Harry James, Colonel Parker (Elvis manager) and director Sam Peckinpah. At rodeo time, this place is full of cowboys! said Schandorff.

Steakhouse specialties include an 8 oz. Lobster Tail, a 7 oz. Steak Filet, Alaskan King Crab Legs and Jumbo Gulf Shrimp Cocktail. Our prices are reasonable & you're not going to find the same prices for this quality on the Strip, said Schandorff. Potatoes and fresh vegetables are served with steak and seafood entrees. Salad and soup are available a la carte. Other mouth-watering dinner choices include Prime Rib and Broiled Spring Lamb. The Steakhouse is open nightly from 6-10:30 p.m. To make reservations, call (702) 382-1600 x 7203.
