One Kick’s Gym’s Finest in the Ring October 11

LAS VEGAS – Muay Thai kickboxing action will be on display at Fight Night at The Club at the Cannery Casino & Hotel, 2121 E. Craig Road, North Las Vegas, Nev., starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013.

In association with the Cannery Casino & Hotel, One Kick’s Gym presents Fight Night #2 Muay Thai Kickboxing Championships. One Kick’s Gym is known in the United States as the top training camp in Muay Thai boxing and mixed martial arts.

One Kick’s Gym was founded in 1993 by Nick Blomgren, who has more than 25 years of personal experience in the martial arts. Blomgren has trained more than 15 world champions and many top contenders including Alfie Alcaraz, Phil Baroni, Stephan Bonnar, Steve Cantwell, Dewey Cooper, Chuck Liddell and Ray Sefo.

Muay Thai is a combat sport from the muay martial arts of Thailand that uses stand-up striking, along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline, which includes combat on foot, is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is marked by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet.
