Immersive, Interactive Entertainment Spectacle to Perform Six-Month Limited Engagement at Excalibur Hotel & Casino

LAS VEGAS (December 13, 2018) – International sensation FUERZA BRUTA is coming to the Las Vegas Strip March 7, 2019, when it opens at Excalibur Hotel & Casino for a limited engagement. The dynamic and immersive theatrical production will perform 10 shows weekly in a technologically advanced tent along the Las Vegas Strip at the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Reno Avenue. An interactive theater experience unlike any other, FUERZA BRUTA delights the senses through music, emotion and kinetic aerial imagery.

Excalibur President and COO Ann Hoff said, "On behalf of our employees, I’d like to welcome our new Entertainment partners, FUERZA BRUTA, to the Excalibur family. FUERZA BRUTA has performed to extraordinary acclaim around the world and we believe they will quickly become a mainstay on The Strip. We know Las Vegas audiences will fall in love with the spectacular production that must be seen to be believed."

Launched in Buenos Aires in 2003 by Creator and Artistic Director Dique James and Musical Director and Composer Gaby Kerpel, FUERZA BRUTA quickly took the world by storm, performing for more than six million spectators in more than 34 countries and 58 cities since its inception. FUERZA BRUTA is co-produced by Ozono Producciones – Fuerza Bruta & EMM Williams Productions, the principal promoter for Cirque du Soleil and other large-scale production shows in South America and Lebanon.

Variety praises FUERZA BRUTA as “highly theatrical” and “ferociously stimulating,” proclaiming FUERZA BRUTA “with its magical effects makes for an eye-popping adventure.” The New York Times calls FUERZA BRUTA “a physical and visual extravaganza,” while the Chicago Tribune notes its “dazzling display of bravura and skill.”

With incredible visual effects, FUERZA BRUTA breaks free of the confines of spoken language and theatrical convention to transport audiences to a parallel reality where emotion takes control. At every show, FUERZA BRUTA guests are ushered onto the main stage, where they are surrounded in a 360-degree spectacle with performers demonstrating spectacular feats just inches away. From gorgeous women twisting ethereally in a Lucite pool above the audience to performers suspended in mid-air surrounded by a vast sea of Mylar, creative genius James’ original scenes and customized staging will deliver a wow to all who take it in.

Celebrity guests have included Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Jim Carrey, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, John Legend, Madonna, Jimmy Page, Kanye West and Usher, who recorded the music video for his hit song “Scream” at the show, while he was a guest performer in the New York City production, which ran for nine years.

FUERZA BRUTA will perform at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays (dark Mondays and Tuesdays) at Excalibur starting March 7, with preview performances March 4-6.
