LAS VEGAS (May 2013) – Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge  at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino invites guests to celebrate the spring/summer 2013 season with a list of refreshing cocktails ranging from classic favorites to new and unique concoctions. Guests may enjoy a cocktail in the Cigar Lounge, perfect for kicking back and cooling off as warm weather arrives, or they may order an impeccable complement to the restaurant’s gourmet French cuisine.

Fans of rhubarb can try the Summer Fresca, a tasty combination of silver tequila, fresh rhubarb juice, house-made rhubarb simple syrup and muddled strawberries. For a limited summer engagement, the Manhattan Light will be available, created with Death’s Door white whiskey, Lillet blonde, and orange bitters with the intricate combination aged eight weeks in a small oak barrel. Those who enjoy vodka as their libation base will enjoy the Black Cherry Cobbler made with Grey Goose Cherry Noir, crème de cassis, lemon juice and soda water or Chill Thyme, which combines vodka, St. Germain, fresh thyme, strawberry and house-made sweet and sour.

Andre’s also offers infused cocktails such as the Pomegranate Lemon Drop, made with lemon infused vodka, pomegranate liquor and fresh citrus with a sugar rim, or the Willy Nilly, a combination of vanilla-infused vodka, cranberry juice and peach liquor. The Marti Gras Martini, an Andre’s signature cocktail, also is available and is made with foie gras, honey, Tahitian vanilla and vodka.

Those who prefer a classic cocktail can relax with a Bellini, Mimosa or a Lower Manhattan.
