Las Vegas Resort Pool Reignites for the Season on March 13 with Popular ‘Ditch Fridays’ Pool Party
and ‘Cabanas for a Cause’ Beginning May 1
LAS VEGAS – Opening March 13, Palms Pool & Dayclub at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas returns for fun in the sun with plush accommodations, over-the-top parties and a new season of giving with “Cabanas for a Cause.” With a high-energy atmosphere and quality amenities, Palms elevates the pool experience with premier bottle service, delicious dining, new cocktail menu selections and more.
This year Palms is taking poolside entertainment up a notch, introducing a selection of lively party cabanas featuring spacious seating and 50-inch flat screen televisions equipped with Direct TV and a variety of gaming console options such as Xbox, Retro Nintendo, and Playstation 3. Guests who prefer to soak up the sun in the center of the action can take advantage of cozy daybeds and lily pads with approachable price points starting as low as $50 for lily pads accommodating a group of six.
Guests can experience the new pool features in full force at two of Palms Pool’s popular staple events, “Ditch Fridays” and “Cabanas for a Cause.”
On select Mondays throughout the season, Palms will honor nonprofit charities in the Las Vegas community through “Cabanas for a Cause,” with the pool waiving cabana food and beverage minimums for guests in lieu of a minimum $100 donation to the featured charity of the week. Applications are now open for nonprofits interested in partnering with Palms for “Cabanas for a Cause” and can be submitted at http://thepal.ms/C4C. The last Cabanas for a Cause event will be August 31.
On May 1 Las Vegas’ ultimate weekly pool party “Ditch Fridays” returns with nonstop entertainment as the best excuse to skip work or school on a Friday. Since its inception, “Ditch Fridays” has grown into one of the city’s most renowned pool parties. Featuring crowd-pleasing performances by top musical artists in a tropical oasis, this year won’t disappoint with a talent lineup to be announced on a future date.
