Chef André Rochat and Captain Keith Colburn Team Up For Crab Extravaganza on Wednesday, March 24
LAS VEGAS (March 2010) – Crab lovers rejoice! Chef André Rochat of the Michelin-awarded Alizé at the Top of the Palms and Captain Keith Colburn of the crab fishing boat the Wizard on Discovery Channel’s uber-popular show, “Deadliest Catch” will present a special crab-focused menu for one-night only on Wednesday, March 24.
The exclusive six-course dinner with wine pairings begins at 6:30 p.m. with a champagne reception, immediately followed by a seated dinner at 7 p.m. where guests will not only experience an unforgettable dinner, but will also enjoy the sights of Las Vegas from the top of The Palms. Alizé’s “Deadliest Catch” special dinner is priced at $135 per person.
“Although catching the crab is dangerous, savoring it is not,” said Chef Rochat. “Captain Colburn and I have created an exquisite menu truly showcasing and celebrating the variety of flavor of the crab. We are pleased to offer this selective menu to crab enthusiasts and connoisseurs.”
The menu features Rochat’s original dishes including Crab and Piquillo Pepper Stuffed Calamari, Fricassée of King Crab Leg and Frog Legs and Veal Stuffed with King Crab Leg. Wine pairings feature a sparkling as well as several distinctive selections from Napa Valley.
