Friday, October 25 at The Star Of The Desert Arena

Primm, Nev., - Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum entertainer Lee Greenwood takes the stage at Buffalo Bill's Star of the Desert Arena on Friday, October 25, 2002, at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $22. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 4 at 10 a.m. and are available at the Buffalo Bill's Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets.

Best known for his signature hit "God Bless The USA," Lee Greenwood is touring again. Since the tragedies of September 11, Greenwood has seen his hit take on yet another life. After the attack on America, it saw an immense increase in airplay, skyrocketing "God Bless The USA" back into the top 20 of the Billboard country charts and sending Greenwood's 1992 album American Patriot to the top of the sales charts, going platinum in December 2001.

An American success story, Greenwood began his musical career at an early age, honing his abilities in junior high school. He even missed his high school graduation to perform a standing engagement in Reno, Nevada. In the early years, he was a regular on the Las Vegas lounge scene. However in 1978, he went to Nashville and finally got a break with MCA. By the early 80s he won award after award including back-to-back Country Music Association's (CMA) Male Vocalist of the Year, a Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and the CMA award for Song of the Year for writing the words and music to "God Bless The USA."

In April 1996, Greenwood opened the Lee Greenwood Theater in the Smoky Mountains to be closer to his family and still be able to perform. To date, Greenwood has recorded thirty-one albums including his latest CD Inspirational Songs Featuring Gob Bless The USA.
