TONY SACCA PICKS TOP LAS VEGAS ENTERTAINERS TO PERFORM NIGHTLY

LAS VEGAS April 3, 2012 - The 33rd Annual San Gennaro Feast will once again feature a “Taste of Great Entertainment” nightly with a lineup of elite entertainers hosted by Las Vegas entertainment director and performer Tony Sacca, who has been part of San Gennaro feasts for more than 25 years. This annual feast, which is “A Love Affair with Italy” honoring the patron saint of Naples, Italy, will be held in the northeast parking lot at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, May 9-13.

Every day there is complimentary entertainment starting at 4 p.m. with traditional Italian folk music and starting at 8 p.m. Sacca will host, perform and introduce a stellar lineup of Las Vegas Strip entertainers on the main stage in the back area of the feast. 

 

Sacca’s headliner guest performers will include: Lena Prima – daughter of legendary Louis Prima; legendary accordionist Dick Contino; Philly Cuzz specializing in Doo Wop; Shades of Sinatra featuring decades of Ol’ Blue Eyes songs; sexy singers and dancers Amanda Kaiser, Joelle Righetti and Annette Simmonds paying tribute to divas such as Cher, Bette Midler and Celine Dion  and performing as backup singers, the “Saccettes,” for Tony Sacca; John Garafalo and Mark Giovi with a tribute to great Italian tenors; Domenick Allen, “The Rat Pack Is Back,” “Two Kings.. Elvis and Michael,” Dangerous Curves, Rick Faugno, Mark OToole, Denise Clemente, Renee Hale, DeAnne Sheehan, Justin Tranz, L.J. Harness, “Nunsense The Musical,” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” all backed by the Michael T Band.


Each night the feast will close with top-rated bands: The NiteKings; David Perrico featuring Naomi Mauro; Déjà Vu Band; Rock It Science; and on Saturday night a tribute to The Temptations and The Supremes.

For the feast, comedian Louie Anderson will be Grand Marshal “Luigi,” and the Grand Lady is songstress Lena Prima, who will also be performing on the main stage.

In addition to the fine entertainment, the San Gennaro Feast features more than 70 restaurant food booths offering traditional Italian fare and over 60 amusement rides plus a 250-foot Slingshot Ride, games midway, and specialty vendors. The San Gennaro Feast goes from 4 – 11p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m. – midnight on Friday; 11 a.m. – midnight on Saturday; and 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Sunday.
