Tom Colicchio, renowned New York chef and head judge of Bravo’s “Top Chef,” will bring his passion for cooking with fire to the Las Vegas Strip with the opening of a new restaurant at The Mirage. Slated to open summer 2013, the 250-seat restaurant will focus on meats prepared entirely over an open flame – from wood-burning ovens to charcoal grills.

 

The warmth of the hearth will permeate the entire restaurant, from the Bentel+Bentel design highlighting natural materials to the comforting aroma reminiscent of a campfire. Colicchio’s new restaurant, located within The Mirage’s iconic Atrium, will be open for dinner. 

 

The restaurant will take the location currently occupied by kokomo’s, which will close in early 2013.
