Vacationers From Areas Hit By Hurricane Katrina Invited To Visit Wax Attraction On The Strip Free of Charge

LAS VEGAS, August 31, 2005 -- Effective immediately, Madame Tussauds wax attraction on The Strip is offering free tickets to individuals and families who are vacationing in Las Vegas from the Gulf Coast regions of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama that have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Residents of those areas who are in town just have to present valid identification at the Madame Tussauds ticket counter to receive tickets free of charge for themselves and family members.

We know there are tourists in Las Vegas right now from New Orleans, Biloxi and Gulfport, Miss., Mobile, Ala., and other Gulf Coast communities who may have just arrived or must extend their visit here because they cannot go home. Madame Tussauds wants to make their visit as comfortable as possible, said Adrian Jones, Madame Tussauds general manager.
