BlackBox Theater in Las Vegas is taking the concept of nightlife entertainment and spinning it into another dimension at The Artisan Hotel with Free Society.  On Wednesday night, May 30, The Artisan will be transformed into an interactive performance theater; an underground speakeasy in the heart of Las Vegas. Guests will be dazzled by performances which consist of several sets of artists interspersed between DJ sets that are complemented by live music.  From African drummers to contortionists to body painters to piano players, synchronized swimmers,  musical acts and distinctive live bondage performances, Free Society is a cultural carnival celebrating life and freedom of expression.  In addition, the show will feature special guests Lady Station with original Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar, as well as Dancing With The Stars alumni, Sabrina Bryan.

The BlackBox Theater has cultivated unique relationships with talented acts from all over Las Vegas, including performers that appear in such shows as Le Reve, "O", Jabbawokeez, Peepshow, Beatles Love, Donnie & Marie, Zumanity and Absinthe.  “With Free Society, we are working with the most amazing talent in Las Vegas and creating a show that will appeal to the performers in the shows around town, as well as to the general public.  There is truly nothing like this anywhere…it’s sexy, sophisticated, and at times, just a tad naughty.  It’s perfect for Las Vegas,” explains Lena Giroux, partner of BlackBox Theater.

“The Artisan is the place in Las Vegas where entertainment can be pushed to new and exciting levels,” explains Michael Crandall, senior vice president for the Siegel Group. “From our AfterHours to our pool parties, everything we do has a spin to it that is different from what you would find at other hotel properties in Las Vegas.  With Free Society, we are excited to provide a stage for the performers of Las Vegas to really showcase their talent.”
