Back by popular demand, BlackBOX Theater Presents at the Artisan Hotel Boutique will once again transport nightlife entertainment in Las Vegas into another dimension with “The Land of the Free?” on Wednesday night, July 18th.  The Artisan, always home to some of the most unique and creative events, will once again see its iconic lobby transformed into an interactive performance theater; an underground speakeasy in the heart of Las Vegas.

When the show debuted in May, guests were dazzled by performances that consisted of several sets of artists interspersed between DJ sets that were complemented by live music.  For the July 18th performance, entertainment will once again feature African drummers to contortionists to body painted dancers to piano players, musical acts and distinctive live bondage performances, The Land of the Free? will be another cultural carnival celebrating life and freedom of expression.

BlackBOX Theater Presents has cultivated unique relationships with talented acts from all over Las Vegas, including performers that appear in such shows as Le Reve, Jabbawokeez, Peepshow, Beatles Love, Donnie & Marie and Zumanity.  “Our first show at The Artisan was a huge success,” explains Lena Giroux, director and co-owner of BlackBOX Theater Presents.  “We are working with the most amazing talent in Las Vegas and creating a show that will appeal to the performers in the shows around town, as well as to the general public.  There is truly nothing like this anywhere…it’s sexy, sophisticated, and at times, just a tad naughty.  It’s perfect for The Artisan and definitely for Las Vegas.”

“We loved the first performance and the crowd was enthusiastic to say the least,” explains Michael Crandall, senior vice president for the Siegel Group.  “There was never a question that we wanted to host another show.  With our intimate size, the show really was interactive and surreal.  I can’t wait to see what they bring for the next go around.  With “The Land of the Free?”, we are excited to provide a stage for the performers of Las Vegas to really showcase their talent.”

Doors to “Land of the Free?” open at 11p.m. Tickets start at $18. The first show starts at 1 a.m. Limited stage-side table seating and poolside cabanas are available by calling Steven at 702-595-7393.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or  (limited quantities available).
