"The Greatest DJ of All Time" Launches Partnership at XS on Feb. 4

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Jan 30, 2012) - Tiësto, recently voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag, has forged an exclusive residency with Wynn Las Vegas daylife and nightclub venues Encore Beach Club, Surrender and XS nightclubs for 2012.

With countless achievements including a Grammy Award nomination, several MTV awards, and a performance at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, Tiësto, a.k.a. Tijs Verwest, is one of the most recognizable electronic artists worldwide. He has developed an incredible following over his career and compiled more than 10 million Facebook fans and nearly 300 million hits on YouTube.

"Tiësto is more than an artist -- he is a globally respected brand," said Jesse Waits, co-owner and managing partner of XS and Tryst Nightclubs. "This partnership is an integral component of our plans to solidify Wynn Las Vegas as a mecca for electronic music. The combination of Tiësto's talent, devoted fan base and special production elements will create a monumental series of events in the year ahead."

"Tiësto is one of the most recognized and respected electronic dance music artists in the world. He is an international ambassador for this exploding music movement and continues to be a driving force in increasing its popularity in Las Vegas and beyond," said Sean Christie, co-owner and managing partner of Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub. "This exclusive partnership further establishes us as the premier destination for experiencing the world's best EDM talent."

Tiësto has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Coldplay, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Goldfrapp, Jónsi from Sigur Rós, Diplo and Busta Rhymes. When he's not collaborating with celebrated talent, he's jet setting his way around the globe, playing sold out shows. His 2010 "Kaleidoscope World Tour" spanned more than 15 months and 175 dates across six continents playing to more than 1 million people. The hugely successful tour was recognized by Billboard Magazine. In 2010, Tiësto was nominated for two Billboard Touring Awards, placing him among Billboard's Top 25 largest grossing touring acts of the year.

In 2011, Tiësto completed his "Club Life College Invasion Tour," the largest dance music tour to ever hit the American college market. The three week tour included stops at campuses across the United States and Canada, with the final date on Oct. 8, 2011, at the Home Depot Stadium in Los Angeles, where he played to a sold out crowd of 26,000, marking the largest single DJ show in US history. He finished 2011 with a bang, playing at the launch party for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol in Rio and launching his exclusive fashion line, CLVB LIFE Clothing.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Tiësto has kicked off 2012 in style with the announcement of his very own Sirius XM channel and the launch of his "In The Booth" behind the scenes YouTube series. Additionally, he recently made social media history when he performed the first ever live concert stream on Twitter from XS.
