Residents are invited to join Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Mayor Pro Tem Lois Tarkanian at 5:30 p.m. at Bob Baskin Park Friday, Oct. 12, for an evening of celebration and a viewing of the animated movie “Hotel Transylvania 3.” The park, located at 2801 W. Oakey Blvd., was refurbished this year. The free event will include a rededication of the recently reopened six-acre park, as well as a costume parade, kids’ activities, jump house, enjoyment of the new park amenities and free refreshments while supplies last.

“We have looked forward with great anticipation to celebrating the reopening of Bob Baskin Park with the neighborhood residents that have waited for months for their park,” said Mayor Pro Tem Tarkanian. “I hope everyone is able to join us.”
