Las Vegas Residents Invited To Celebrations, Luncheons & Activities At City Centers

The city of Las Vegas active adult and senior centers offer exercise, fitness, craft, arts, dance, music and computer classes; cards; games; discussion and social groups; luncheons; sports; and special events Monday through Friday to residents age 50 and better. Many of these activities contribute to wellness and a healthy lifestyle. A listing of classes and activities is published in the Beyond the Neon Leisure Guide, available online at www.lasvegasParksandRec.com and in the centers. All activities are subject to change. Most activities require $5 semi-annual membership in city of Las Vegas Active Adult/Senior Citizen Programs, available at all senior and active adult centers. Cereal Bar Breakfast (ages 50+)

Under the Rainbow – St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon (ages 50+)

St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon (ages 50+)

Senior Day Field Trip Floyd Lamb Park (ages 50+)

Thursday, March 19, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person. Advance registration required.

Pick up and return to East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave., 702-229-1515.

Enjoy a nature walk around Floyd Lamb Park, exploring the history of the park and historic buildings while enjoying the peacocks, ducks, and more.  Bring your own picnic lunch, water and hat. Call 702-229-1515 to register starting March 1. Participants must be able to navigate into and out of a 15-passenger van.  Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

 

Annual Irish Luncheon (ages 50+)
