The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Department of Theatre invites senior adults to become part of the nationally acclaimed Senior Adult Theatre program at UNLV. In addition to special "Senior Adult Theatre" classes, a wide range of theatre courses are available, from Acting to Directing to Playwriting to a new Bachelor of Arts in Senior Adult Theatre.

Seniors are also invited to work onstage and backstage, and no prior theatre experience is necessary. "Whatever your interest--ushering, building scenery, auditioning for plays--there are many opportunities available for older students," says Dr. Ann Mc Donough, the director of the program.

Classes for Fall Semester begin in late August, and seniors age sixty-two and older who meet residency requirements may earn up to six free credits per semester on a space available basis. (There are fees for parking on campus and for books in some classes.)

There will be a Senior Adult Theatre information party on Wednesday, July 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the Hendrix Auditorium on the campus of UNLV. The party is free, but reservations are required and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To make a reservation, phone 895-1079.
